From the listing
This 2003 Gibson '50s Les Paul Standard features a distinctive '50s-style neck that pays homage to the classic '50s design. This is a substantial instrument from the pre-weight relief era, featuring a maple top, mahogany back, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard, equipped with Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups. With a tight sound produced by the highly popular Burstbucker pickups—which capture the classic tone of yesteryear—this guitar delivers a powerful, signature Les Paul tone. There are two repair marks from a neck break (with reinforcing strips; the headstock veneer also shows signs of warping), and the strap pins are lock-pin type. There are signs of wear (such as minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, playing lines, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; its operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
