It’s no exaggeration to say that the JEM77 is Steve Vai’s signature model—the very face of Ibanez. This is the Premium Series JEM77WDP-CNL. It features a rosewood top and mahogany back and sides, a 5-piece neck made of maple and walnut, and a rosewood fingerboard with a “Tree of Life” inlay—the classic specifications of a signature model. Of course, it also features the Monkey Grip. The backplate is missing, and there is some discoloration and minor rust on the parts. There are numerous dents accompanied by paint peeling and dents on the back of the body and the body corners, and there are small dents and scratches throughout the body.
