From the listing
A used 2015 SG Special has arrived! This 2015 SG Special features an upgraded gloss lacquer finish. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Les Paul’s birth, it features the “Les Paul 100” logo on the headstock and a Les Paul hologram sticker on the back of the headstock. With 24 frets—covering a range one semitone higher than vintage models—and a non-pickguard design, this guitar boasts a modern aesthetic. Both the body and neck are crafted from mahogany, delivering a well-balanced sound powered by 61 Zebra pickups. The wide nut width and slim neck profile ensure exceptional playability. Although the original model was equipped with “G-Force” robot tuners, these have been replaced with Grover locking tuners. The neck has a slight twist. The entire body and neck have been over-lacquered, and the finish on the sticker on the back of the headstock has partially peeled off. In some areas, the clear coat covers dents, making it appear as if the finish is lifting. There is a chip in the wood at the tip of the headstock, and overall, there are numerous scratches, dents, and chips in the finish, indicating it has been well-used. Metal parts show rust and tarnish, and plastic parts show signs of sun fading. There are marks from a stand at the base of the headstock and the body end. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 150005472 Year of Manufacture: 2015 Country of Manufacture: United States Case: Hard Case Weight: 2.92 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement tested up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String height (low-string side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String Action (Treble Side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 44.9 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 20.7 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 22.1 mm Scale: 628 mm (24.75") RADIUS: 305 mm (12") Strings at Setup: ERNIE BALL 2221 / .010-.046 set Modificati
