It features forward-shifted scalloped bracing, herringbone binding, slotted diamond and square inlays, and a modified V-neck. The sound is delicate yet has solid volume. When strummed, it produces powerful bass and brilliant treble, making it ideal for vocal accompaniment and backing tracks. For lead playing, it produces a delicate yet full-bodied sound with remarkable power. Although it is a signature model, its beautiful appearance and the perfection of its sound have earned it high praise even among non-Clapton fans. Although it is pre-owned, it is in relatively good condition. When you run your finger along the joints—such as the body binding, the body end, and the transition between the neck and fingerboard—you can feel slight variations in the finish. While there are other minor signs of wear, scratches, and age-related changes, it is in relatively good condition for a 2010 model.
