From the listing
This is the 2014 model of the "120th Anniversary" Gibson USA Les Paul Melody Maker, manufactured in 2014. Released as a special edition to commemorate Gibson’s 120th anniversary, this model features a matte satin finish, a thin maple top with a contoured back paired with a mahogany back, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a “120th Anniversary” inlay at the 2nd fret, soapbar-style P-90 pickups, and a satin chrome Lightning Bar (a wrap-around bridge with intonation adjustment). Reminiscent of Gibson’s traditional “TV Yellow” color, this model is one of the most popular and vibrant colors among the 2014 Melody Maker lineup. It is characterized by its comfortable fit, the sweet and rich tone produced by the P-90 pickups, and the clear, well-defined sound with excellent projection provided by the maple neck. Signs of use are visible (including color stains and discoloration around the body, scuffs, playing scratches, picking marks, a glossy sheen on the back of the neck from playing, stand marks, paint chips on the back, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage). It appears the guitar has not been used for an extended period; although it has been wiped down, mold stains are visible throughout the case. It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and light filing of the high frets). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate up to ±60° and is in good working condition. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant scratches and signs of use, but is suitable for normal use Serial Number: 140079188 Year of Manufacture: 2014 Country of Manufacture: United States Case: Soft case (with some dirt) Weight: 3.59 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement up to 60 degrees to the left and right has been confirmed and is normal
