"A super-popular model in the OOO size that's easy to hold!" We’ve received a used Martin 000-28, one of the brand’s classic models. Approx. 43.5mm nut width, non-scalloped X-bracing. The body features a glossy finish. It’s perfect for singing and accompaniment, but we also highly recommend it for fingerstyle playing. When played as a lead instrument, it produces a delicate yet full-bodied sound with tremendous projection. The saddle has been replaced with a TUSQ model. The neck has been straightened, the frets have been leveled, the string action has been adjusted with shims, and the nut grooves have been filled. There is paint peeling on the top around the bridge. There are dents, pick marks, and unevenness in the binding. Additionally, there are signs of use, scratches, and natural aging typical of a used instrument. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has approximately 60 degrees of adjustment remaining in the tightening direction. The frets have been leveled, and about 80% of their original height remains. String action measures approximately 2.7 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and approximately 2.0 mm at the 12th fret on the 1st string. The original hard case is included.
