Seller's description

Gibson Custom LTD Early '60s J-160E VOS! We have received a 2017 Custom Shop Limited Edition Early '60s J-160E VOS. Based on the serial number on the body, the guitar was manufactured in 2017; however, since the date listed on the final inspection checklist is January 17, 2018, we can infer that this 2017 model was shipped from the factory in early 2018. As this Custom Shop limited-production model features a VOS finish, the entire body has been treated with a VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finish that mimics the appearance of a vintage guitar in good condition. Since VOS is a type of distressing finish that mimics the dirt and scuffs resulting from a matured luster over time, signs of wear from playing tend to be less noticeable. There are some scuffs on the side of the body where it would rest on the knee while playing, but they do not appear to be deep scratches—rather, they seem to be superficial marks. Additionally, the protective film on the pickguard has not been removed, and there is no significant damage on other parts of the guitar. Considering this along with the condition of the frets, it seems the guitar may have spent more time stored in its hard case than actually being played. Furthermore, there is no noticeable dust or debris inside the body, and it is in very clean condition. * The item shown in the photos includes all accessories. * If any issues are found during the final pre-shipment inspection, we will notify you separately. * The truss rod, remaining fret life, string action, and other specifications are the settings determined during setup and adjustment at our repair center. * This is a one-of-a-kind item. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 13627016 Year of Manufacture: 2017 Country of Manufacture: USA Case: Hard Case Accessories: Certificate of Authenticity, Final Inspection Checklist, Japanese Quick Start Guide, box wrench, unused cleaning cloth Truss Rod: No issues; rod mo
