We've just received a used GIBSON USA / Les Paul Signature T Ebony! The Les Paul Signature T model was introduced in 2013. This model was created as a tribute to Les Paul, the legendary guitarist who passed away the previous year and played a major role in the creation of the Gibson Les Paul model. The “T” mark on the truss rod cover also pays tribute to Ted McCarty, the former president who helped shape Gibson’s golden age, making this a truly special model. This particular guitar has been modified. The original '57 Classic pickups have been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SH-2 in the front and a Seymour Duncan SH-14 in the rear. The pickups and pots have also been replaced, and the coil-tap function is operational. Please note that the original pickups and electronic components are not included. Additionally, the tuning pegs have been replaced with GOTOH Magnum Lock pegs. The original tuning pegs are also missing. Overall, there are signs of wear, including scratches and dents; there is also paint wear on the headstock and in some areas on the back of the body, as well as marks on the back of the headstock from a clip-on tuner that was attached for an extended period. Although it’s not entirely original, it has been modified with a focus on practicality, making it a guitar capable of a wide range of sounds thanks to the coil tap.
