From the listing
We have received a 1973 Gibson ES-150D Walnut, as indicated by its serial number and pot date. This model was manufactured from around 1969 to 1974. It features a double cutaway and an ES-335-like shape, but is characterized by its thick body and full-acoustic construction without a center block. The wood configuration features a laminated maple body, a 3-piece mahogany neck typical of Gibson guitars from this era, and a rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with “sticker-numbered PAF” pickups. It produces a moderately warm and sweet tone, yet also has a unique, mature, and crisp nuance, making it very easy to play. Although some pot dates are obscured, the year 1973 is confirmed on four of them. Master Volume: 137 7325 Front Volume: 137 7325 Front Tone: 137 73xx Rear Volume: 137 xxxx Rear Tone: 137 7325 The frets, nut, and master volume knob have been replaced, and the fingerboard has been repaired. Different tuning pegs were installed at some point in the past, but they have now been replaced with the originals. There is a crack on the back of the headstock near the 6th to 4th string tuning pegs. While there are some signs of wear, such as scratches and dents, the guitar remains in fairly good condition considering its age. With its double-cutaway design and master volume control, this is a very easy-to-play full-acoustic guitar. Please take this opportunity to consider purchasing it. * Please note that due to the nature of this product, we are unable to transfer it between stores.
