An early 1990s model featuring the original PET-1 bridge. Manufactured in the early 1990s, this E-Series model features a design that laid the groundwork for the later APG series. The body features an arched maple top and a mahogany back, with a set-neck joint featuring a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets; it utilizes a medium scale length. It is equipped with original VH-1 (F) and VH-4 (R) pickups, and coil tapping is possible via the tone control’s push/push function. The bridge is the original PET-1 (Pin Edge Tremolo) design, featuring a point-support structure for the bridge and tailpiece that reduces friction, while roller saddles and a roller nut minimize tuning instability. There are scattered minor scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some tarnish. Although the truss rod is at its limit in the tightening direction, there are currently no issues with the neck’s condition. Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent. The tremolo arm is missing.
