From the listing
The classic SG sound—combining crispness and richness—produced by a thin mahogany body! The SG Standard is one of Gibson USA’s flagship models. Its thin mahogany body and double cutaway design offer excellent playability, providing smooth access to the higher frets. It also features a traditional look with a large batwing-style pickguard, a rosewood fingerboard with binding, and trapezoid inlays. The combination of 490R and 490T pickups delivers a rich midrange and powerful humbucker sound, making it suitable for a wide range of genres from blues to hard rock. This 2007 model embodies Gibson’s unique appeal, balancing nimble playability with a sound that commands attention. There is a mark on the back of the body where the finish has reacted, approximately 1 cm in size. Additionally, there are signs of wear, including scratches, dents, and some tarnish and rust on parts. Since we observed some string buzz and fret wear, we have performed a fret leveling. There are currently no issues with its playability. * The strap on the hard case’s latch is broken.
