From the listing
A rare SmartWood Series model featuring the light, responsive feel and beautiful grain unique to swamp ash. Made in 2009. This Les Paul Studio from the “SmartWood Series” features certified wood sourced with environmental considerations in mind. It features the clear, crisp sound characteristic of a swamp ash body. While retaining the power typical of a Les Paul, it’s an easy-to-play guitar with excellent chord separation and responsiveness. The natural satin finish accentuates the beauty of the wood grain, and you can enjoy how the patina changes the more you play it. It features a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with humbucker pickups stamped “Gibson USA.” This is a rare model with a sound character and appearance that sets it apart from the standard Les Paul Studio. Although this model does not originally come with a pickguard, there are traces indicating that a pickguard was once attached. Holes remain around the endpin where a Branco tailpiece was likely once attached. There are strap marks visible around the strap pins. The back of the body shows numerous scratches, and there are scuffs and dents scattered throughout the guitar, giving it a slightly used appearance. There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
