Seller's description

We’ve just received a Yamaha Super Jam 800, an original model manufactured from around 1979 to 1982. Apparently designed with fusion guitarists in mind, it features a maple top/alder back body, a one-piece maple neck, and a machined steel bridge, resulting in a solid, sharp sound. The front pickup is equipped with a "By-Sound System," allowing you to switch between humbucker and single-coil modes via a push-lock switch. There are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some tarnish. The neck is slightly twisted, the truss rod has limited adjustment remaining in the tightening direction, and there is little fret life left; however, this does not currently affect playability. Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 002123 Year of Manufacture: 1979–1982 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case Weight: 4.02 kg Truss Rod: Checked up to 60 degrees to the left and right—no issues (some wear remaining, slight twist present) Fret Wear: Still has enough material to withstand filing, but the frets are on the low side String height (low-string side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String Action (Treble Side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 41.2 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 20.4 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 22.7 mm Scale: 648 mm (25.5") RADIUS: 184 mm (7.25") Strings at Setup: ERNIE BALL 2223 / .009-.042 set Repairs and Maintenance Performed: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, and dressing * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here. Please be aware of this in advance. * Any listed measurements for the truss rod, remaining fret life, string height, etc., were taken by our staff dur
