This model is known for its wide variety of sounds, made possible by the phase switch. An original Yamaha model manufactured and sold from 1977 to 1980. It features an alder body, a maple neck, and a 22-fret striped ebony fingerboard, and is characterized by its slim, easy-to-play neck. Each pickup is equipped with a 3-position phase switch, allowing you to enjoy a wide range of expressive sounds by utilizing 13 different sound variations. There is a crack in the finish at the neck joint, and the body has numerous small dents accompanied by cracks and chips in the finish throughout. The parts show signs of tarnish, rust, and peeling plating, and the instrument has overall scratches and dents.
