Seller's description

The PRS S2 Standard 22 in Satin Cherry is a solidbody electric guitar that leans into simplicity and resonance, thanks to its all-mahogany construction. Both the body and set neck are made from mahogany, giving it a warm, full character with plenty of natural sustain. The 25-inch scale length sits comfortably between the feel of a Gibson and a Fender, while the rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets offers a smooth, balanced playing experience. Its thin satin nitro finish not only looks understated but also lets the wood breathe, adding to the guitar’s open, lively response. The double-cutaway shape makes reaching the upper frets effortless, whether you’re playing chords or leads. Loaded with PRS 58/15 “S” humbuckers, the guitar delivers a clear and articulate tone with a strong midrange and crisp top end. It’s versatile enough to handle clean passages, driven rhythms, and lead work without feeling limited to one style. The control layout keeps things intuitive, with a master volume and a push/pull tone knob that splits the coils, opening up brighter, single-coil-style sounds when needed. A three-way switch rounds things out, letting you move easily between pickup combinations depending on the tone you’re after. The hardware keeps everything stable and reliable, with a PRS fixed bridge providing solid intonation and sustain, and low-mass locking tuners making tuning and string changes quick and dependable. Overall, it’s a guitar that focuses on feel, tone, and usability rather than unnecessary complexity, making it a strong option for players who want a straightforward instrument that still covers a lot of ground.
