Seller's description

The PRS 513 in Orange Tiger is a premium American-made electric guitar designed to deliver an extraordinary range of sounds from a single instrument. Combining PRS craftsmanship, a beautifully carved figured maple top and one of the company's most innovative pickup systems, the 513 is a particularly versatile guitar for players who want the character of both single-coil and humbucking pickups. The name 513 stands for five pickups and thirteen sounds, reflecting the guitar's distinctive electronics. Five specially designed PRS single-coil pickups work alongside a five-way selector and a separate three-way mode switch, allowing players to move between sparkling single-coil tones, articulate lower-output humbucking sounds and powerful high-output humbucker voicings. Its carved maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard provide the familiar combination of sustain, warmth and clarity associated with PRS instruments. The slightly extended 25.25-inch scale length offers excellent string definition, while the PRS tremolo and locking tuners make it a versatile choice for expressive lead guitar. Finished in the eye-catching Orange Tiger, this particular PRS 513 is presented in Very Good Pre-Owned Condition. It weighs 9.22 lbs (approximately 4.18kg), carries serial number 8129518 and comes complete with a hardcase. For guitarists seeking an American-made PRS with exceptional tonal flexibility, elegant styling and a sophisticated switching system, the 513 is an appealing alternative to more conventional electric guitars.
