Seller's description

Quick Product Summary The PRS Hollowbody II Piezo Purple Iris 10 Top is a premium USA-made hollowbody electric guitar combining exceptional figured maple, rich acoustic resonance and an enormously versatile electric and piezo pickup system. Its carved figured maple top and back surround mahogany sides, while the striking Purple Iris finish showcases the depth of the premium figuring. A pair of PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers provides articulate vintage-inspired electric tones, while the integrated LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system adds convincing acoustic-style sounds that can be used independently or blended with the magnetic pickups. What Makes the PRS Hollowbody II Piezo Special? The Hollowbody II Piezo is designed to bridge the gap between premium hollowbody electric and acoustic-style performance. Its carved maple top and back, mahogany middle construction and fully hollow design produce a lively, resonant character with excellent definition, while the 10 Top specification gives this Purple Iris example particularly striking figured maple. Its electronics significantly expand what the guitar can achieve on stage or in the studio. Two PRS 58/15 LT humbuckers deliver clear, open electric tones, while the LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system captures acoustic-style sounds through six individual piezo bridge saddles. Magnetic and piezo sounds can be selected independently, blended together or routed to separate amplification systems. Who Is It For? The PRS Hollowbody II Piezo is ideal for professional players, session musicians and performers who need both premium electric guitar tones and convincing acoustic-style sounds from a single instrument. Its broad tonal range makes it particularly well suited to rock, blues, jazz, pop, country, worship, fusion and studio work. It is also an excellent choice for PRS enthusiasts looking for a highly figured USA Core instrument with the additional versatility of an integrated piezo system.
