Seller's description

The PRS HDRX 20 Indigo Blue Limited Edition is more than just a new colorway—it’s a limited-production version of one of PRS’s most celebrated vintage-inspired amplifiers. Built around the circuitry of Jimi Hendrix’s legendary Woodstock-era amp and finished in striking Indigo Blue tolex, this 20-watt tube head delivers the dynamic response, harmonic richness, and touch sensitivity that made late-'60s British amplifiers iconic. With extremely limited quantities available worldwide, this special edition combines collectible aesthetics with serious tone. Powered by a pair of 5881 power tubes and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, the HDRX 20 captures everything from sparkling cleans to thick, saturated overdrive with remarkable clarity and articulation. Unlike many vintage-style amplifiers, the HDRX 20 adds modern conveniences including internally bridged channels and a Master Volume control, allowing players to achieve authentic tube saturation at manageable volumes without the need for an external attenuator. Whether you're chasing Hendrix-inspired cleans, classic British crunch, or expressive edge-of-breakup tones, the HDRX 20 responds directly to your picking dynamics and guitar volume controls. The familiar Treble, Middle, Bass, Presence, Bright Switch, and High-Mid Gain controls provide a wide range of tonal shaping options while staying true to the amp’s vintage roots. The result is an amp that feels alive under your fingers—equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in a dedicated home setup. For players who appreciate classic British tube tone but need modern usability, the PRS HDRX 20 Indigo Blue Limited Edition offers the best of both worlds in a package that's as visually striking as it is sonically inspiring.
