Fender 75th Anniversary American Professional II Custom Telecaster Electric Guitar - 2-color Sunburst Serial Number: US26048687 Weight: 7 lbs 13 oz The Epitome of Double-bound Tele Elegance Celebrating three-quarters of a century of Tele supremacy, the Fender 75th Anniversary American Professional II Custom Telecaster takes the brand’s double-bound solidbody recipe to a whole new level of aesthetic excellence. A fine flame maple top kicks this Tele off with a collector-grade edge, supported by the lively response of a traditional alder body. Twin 75th Anniversary V-Mod Telecaster single-coils supercharge all the twang and bite of a vintage Tele with a hotter output and enhanced clarity. What’s more, you also get a push-pull Tone knob to access both series and parallel options in the middle position, along with an onboard treble bleed circuit to keep your signal clear when rolling down the volume. What about playability? A maple Deep C neck and a 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard allow you to fly across all 22 medium-jumbo frets with the utmost speed and comfort. A golden set of high-end hardware rounds this Tele out, comprising locking Fender tuning machines and an ashtray-style bridge with compensated brass “bullet” saddles and the ability to be rigged up in either a string-through-body or a top-loader configuration. World-class tonewoods and trim Double-bound Custom Telecasters have long stood as the most luxurious Teles around, and this Fender 75th Anniversary model takes that formula up another notch with a premium flame maple cap. Set atop a traditional alder foundation, this highly figured top wood imparts an air of elegance that perfectly matches the 75th Anniversary American Professional II Custom Telecaster’s glittering gold hardware. What’s more, tonewood connoisseurs find that the maple top imparts just a touch of enhanced presence and top-end snap to alder’s lively sonic foundation.
