A new FSR color from a music store: Shell Pink with a matching headstock. And amazingly, this one comes upgraded with Custom Shop pickups! The body is, of course, alder. It also comes standard with a Mustang bridge to help prevent string slippage. As an FSR model, production is limited in quantity. Once this current batch is sold out, it will likely be quite a while before the next one becomes available. No time to hesitate — this is a buy-it-now kind of guitar! A high-spec Jaguar in the ever-popular Shell Pink is here!This model features the custom color Shell Pink, a finish seen around the early 1960s. It is said to have originated from colors used on 1950s American cars, and it remains one of Fender’s most iconic custom colors, bringing the glamour of America’s golden age into the world of guitars.Paired with a maple fingerboard, Shell Pink gives off a bright and playful 50s-style look, but when combined with a rosewood fingerboard like this model, it takes on a more mature, refined, and understated character. The combination with a 3-ply mint green pickguard is also a classic specification often seen on Custom Shop models.Great attention has also been paid to the sound. This model is equipped with Fender Custom Shop ’62 Jaguar pickups, delivering a more vintage-like tone. For playability, it features a 9.5" radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets.The back of the neck has been finished in satin urethane, as seen on the Hybrid II series, for a smoother and more comfortable playing feel.
