The 1960 Telecaster Relic is a faithful recreation of the revered turn-of-the-decade original in all its worn-in glory, built for players who prize a rare glimpse into Telecaster evolution with a few seamless streamlined improvements for a paramount playing experience. The two-piece ash body is hand selected for weight and grain and wears a Relic lacquer finish. A rift-sawn maple neck features a ’60-style “oval C” profile, topped by a 9.5”-radius flat-lam rosewood fingerboard with 21 narrow tall frets for comfort and optimum play. Hand-wound ’58 Tele pickups are wound to spec and connected to a three-way switch and modern Tele wiring.
