Seller's description

C.F. Martin & Co. M-38 (1995) – Premium Rosewood Jumbo Auditorium – Good Condition This Martin M-38 1995 — also searched as M38 1995, Martin M 38, or Martin 0000-38 acoustic — is a highly regarded large-body acoustic that combines the projection of a dreadnought with the balance and comfort of an orchestra-style guitar. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides featuring Martin’s distinctive 3-piece back, this 1995 M-38 delivers a rich, expansive voice with strong bass response, articulate mids, and shimmering highs. The large M (0000) body offers exceptional balance and note separation, making it equally suited for fingerstyle, flatpicking, strumming, and recording. The M-38 is known for its elegant Style 38 appointments, including herringbone top trim, bound ebony fingerboard, and premium craftsmanship throughout. Its combination of power and clarity has made it a favorite among players seeking a more balanced alternative to a traditional dreadnought. This Martin M-38 (1995) is in good condition, showing some small dents from normal use while remaining structurally sound and highly playable. Includes original Martin hardshell case. ⸻ Specifications – Martin M-38 (1995) Model: Martin M-38 (M38 / M 38) Year: 1995 Series: Style 38 Body Size: M / 0000, 14-Fret Top: Solid Sitka Spruce Back & Sides: Solid East Indian Rosewood (3-Piece Back) Bracing: Scalloped X-Bracing Scale Length: 25.4” (645 mm) Nut Width: 1 11/16” (42.9 mm) Neck: Mahogany Fingerboard: Ebony Bridge: Ebony Binding: White Bound Fingerboard Trim: Herringbone Top Purfling Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Electronics: None Condition: Good Notes: Some small dents from normal use Case: Original Martin Hardshell Case
