Seller's description

C.F. Martin & Co. D12-35 (1975) – Vintage 12-String, 12-Fret Dreadnought – Good Condition This Martin D-12-35 1975 — also searched as D12-35 1975, Martin D 12 35, or vintage Martin 12-string dreadnought — is a distinctive vintage acoustic combining a powerful 12-string voice with Martin’s resonant 12-fret dreadnought design. Built with a solid spruce top and beautifully figured rosewood back and sides, this D-12-35 produces a full, shimmering sound with deep bass, rich overtones, and clear treble definition. The rosewood displays particularly attractive grain with an appearance reminiscent of Brazilian rosewood, giving the guitar exceptional visual character. The 12-fret neck joint positions the bridge farther into the lower bout, contributing to the guitar’s strong resonance, sustain, and open tonal response. Its characteristic three-piece back, slotted headstock, and understated Style 35 appointments complete the classic vintage Martin aesthetic. This Martin D-12-35 (1975) is in good condition, showing signs of age and use, including finish weather checking and scratches. Importantly, the guitar has no cracks. It has been professionally set up and is ready to play, with comfortable action and good overall playability. Includes original blue hardshell case. ⸻ Specifications – Martin D-12-35 (1975) Model: Martin D12-35 (D12-35 / D 12 35) Year: 1975 Instrument Type: 12-String Acoustic Guitar Body Size: Dreadnought, 12-Fret Top: Solid Spruce Back & Sides: Rosewood Back Construction: Three-Piece Back Neck: Mahogany Headstock: Slotted Fingerboard: Ebony Bridge: Ebony Scale Length: 25.4” (645 mm) Finish: Gloss Electronics: None Setup: Professionally set up and ready to play Condition: Good Case: Hardshell Case Included
