Seller's description

C.F. Martin & Co. D-35 Standard (2005) – Three-Piece Rosewood Back – Good Condition This Martin D-35 Standard 2005 — also searched as D35 2005, Martin D 35, or used Martin D-35 acoustic guitar — is a classic rosewood dreadnought known for its deep bass response, rich overtones, and distinctive three-piece back. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the D-35 delivers a warm, powerful sound with a broad low end, smooth mids, and clear trebles. Its lighter 1/4” non-scalloped X-bracing gives the guitar a responsive, resonant character while retaining the focused sound associated with Martin dreadnoughts from this period. The guitar features traditional Style 35 appointments, including the recognizable three-piece rosewood back, white body binding, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and classic dot fingerboard inlays. The comfortable neck and full-size dreadnought body make it well suited for strumming, flatpicking, recording, and accompaniment. This Martin D-35 (2005) is in good condition, showing normal cosmetic signs of age and use. It remains a strong-playing vintage-style Martin with the mature tone expected from a well-seasoned rosewood guitar. ⸻ Specifications – Martin D-35 Standard (2005) Model: Martin D-35 Standard Year: 2005 Series: Standard Series Body Size: Dreadnought, 14-Fret Top: Solid Sitka Spruce Back & Sides: Solid East Indian Rosewood Back Construction: Three-Piece Rosewood Back Bracing: 1/4” Non-Scalloped X-Bracing Scale Length: 25.4” (645 mm) Nut Width: 1 11/16” (42.9 mm) Neck: Select Hardwood Neck Profile: Low Profile Fingerboard: Ebony Bridge: Ebony Fingerboard Inlays: Style 28 Dot Inlays Binding: White Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Electronics: None Condition: Good Notes: Normal cosmetic signs of age and use
