Seller's description

C.F. Martin & Co. D-35 50th Anniversary (2015) – Three-Piece Rosewood Dreadnought – Good Condition This Martin D-35 50th Anniversary from 2015 — also searched as Martin D35 50th Anniversary, Martin D 35, Martin D-35 2015, used Martin D-35, or second-hand Martin D35 — is a special anniversary example of one of Martin’s most distinctive acoustic guitars, celebrating 50 years since the introduction of the legendary D-35 in 1965. The D-35 is famous for its elegant three-piece rosewood back, a design that distinguishes it from the traditional two-piece back found on most Martin dreadnoughts. This construction has become a defining feature of the model and an important part of its history. Built with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the guitar delivers the rich, full-bodied sound associated with the D-35. It offers deep, resonant bass, warm mids, clear trebles and complex overtones, making it particularly well suited to strumming, flatpicking, folk, country and singer-songwriter performance. The traditional 1/4-inch bracing contributes to the D-35’s responsive character, allowing the top to produce a strong bass response and excellent acoustic projection. Classic Style 35 appointments include a bound ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, decorative top purfling, elegant fingerboard inlays and the unmistakable three-piece rosewood back. The special 50th Anniversary designation adds historical significance to this commemorative instrument. This 2015 Martin D-35 50th Anniversary is in good condition, showing some small scratches from normal use. Overall, it remains an attractive example of this special anniversary model, offering the familiar rich and resonant Martin D-35 sound.
