Seller's description

C.F. Martin & Co. D-28 (2002) – Classic Rosewood Dreadnought – Very Good Condition This Martin D-28 2002 — also searched as D28 2002, Martin D 28 Standard, or Martin D-28 acoustic — is one of the most iconic dreadnought models ever produced, known for its powerful projection, rich rosewood tone, and timeless Martin craftsmanship. Built with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this 2002 D-28 delivers a deep, resonant low end, strong mids, and clear articulate trebles. The dreadnought body provides exceptional volume and headroom, making it ideal for strumming, flatpicking, bluegrass, and singer-songwriter accompaniment. The guitar features non-scalloped X-bracing, contributing to the classic focused and punchy D-28 sound with excellent clarity and balance. The ebony fingerboard and bridge provide durability, sustain, and smooth playability. This Martin D-28 (2002) is in excellent condition, only small scratches of normal use for its age. The guitar remains structurally solid and plays beautifully with low action. Includes original Martin hardshell case. ⸻ Specifications – Martin D-28 (20029 Model: Martin D-28 (D28 / D 28) Year: 2002 Series: Standard Series Body Size: Dreadnought, 14-Fret Top: Solid Spruce Back & Sides: Solid East Indian Rosewood Bracing: Non-Scalloped X-Bracing Scale Length: 25.4” (645 mm) Nut Width: 1 11/16” (42.9 mm) Neck: Select Hardwood Fingerboard: Ebony Bridge: Ebony Finish: Gloss Nitrocellulose Electronics: None Case: Original Martin Hardshell Case
