From the listing
The Martin D-28 stands as one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever built—an instrument trusted by generations of artists and heard across every major genre. Its classic dreadnought body and scalloped bracing create the powerful, room-filling voice that has defined acoustic music for nearly a century, offering deep bass, clear, singing trebles, and harmonically rich overtones. Crafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the D-28 delivers a resonant, balanced sound suited to strummers, flatpickers, and fingerstyle players alike. The satin-finished neck features a GE Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and a 25.4" scale that promotes effortless playability. With antique-white binding, an ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dots, an ebony bridge with bone pins, and nickel open-gear tuners, the D-28 marries timeless Martin craftsmanship with modern comfort. Offered in multiple gloss and satin variations, it’s the kind of guitar that invites a lifetime of music. Martin’s updated 2025 Standard Series brings further refinement to the D-28. Sitka spruce GE top bracing—borrowed from the Modern Deluxe line—adds vintage warmth, power, and sustain, while a recontoured neck, thinner fingerboard, and streamlined bridge and heel enhance both feel and aesthetics. Each D-28 arrives in a protective hardshell case. Specs: Solid spruce top; solid East Indian rosewood back and sides; GE Modified Low Oval neck with satin back; scalloped forward-shifted X-bracing; ebony fretboard with Style 28 inlays; 16" fingerboard radius; 20 frets; GE Modern Belly ebony bridge with compensated bone saddle and bone bridge pins; 25.4″ scale length; 1.75″ nut width. Gloss nitro-cellulose lacquer Natural finish. Includes hard shell case.
