Seller's description

The Martin D-28 Modern Deluxe takes one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever made and pushes it into new territory with a collection of carefully chosen modern enhancements. While it retains the powerful dreadnought voice and timeless rosewood-and-spruce character that players have loved for generations, the Modern Deluxe introduces a more responsive, refined feel that brings out additional sustain, clarity, and dynamic range. At its heart is a European red spruce top treated with Martin's Vintage Tone System, paired with Golden Era-style Adirondack spruce bracing and natural protein glue construction to deliver the openness and resonance of a well-played vintage instrument. Modern appointments such as a carbon fiber bridge plate, Liquidmetal bridge pins, and EVO Gold frets further enhance projection and responsiveness, while elegant details like European flamed maple binding, gold Waverly tuners, and the pearl script logo give the guitar a distinctly upscale appearance. The result is a D-28 that feels both familiar and refreshingly new.
