Seller's description

For players chasing the unmistakable sound of a great rosewood dreadnought, this Martin Custom Shop D-28 delivers in every respect. Built with an Adirondack spruce top over East Indian rosewood back and sides, it offers the huge dynamic range, piano-like bass and shimmering overtones that have made this combination the benchmark for acoustic guitars for generations. This Custom Shop specification leans heavily into Martin's Golden Era heritage. The Adirondack top provides outstanding headroom and projection, while the full-thickness neck delivers the reassuring handful of a vintage instrument without compromising playability. Finished with a subtle aging toner, antique white binding, classic Style 28 appointments and long diamond and square ebony fingerboard inlays, it's an elegant take on one of Martin's most iconic designs. Whether you're driving a bluegrass ensemble, accompanying vocals or filling a room with rich, resonant chords, this dreadnought responds with effortless power, exceptional clarity and remarkable sustain. The satin neck and Grover Sta-Tite vintage tuners complete a build that feels every bit as refined as it sounds. A beautifully specified Martin Custom Shop instrument that captures everything players love about a great D-28, elevated with premium tonewoods and thoughtful vintage-inspired appointments. Includes its original Martin hard shell case.
