Seller's description

We're proud to have another fine example of the expert skill and craftsmanship Martin's Custom Shop. The Martin Custom Shop Style 18 00-12 is a thoughtfully specified instrument that reimagines one of Martin's most understated designs. Built with a hand selected figured flamed mahogany top, back and sides, this all-mahogany construction delivers a focused, articulate voice with exceptional warmth, quick response and a dry, woody character that rewards both fingerstyle and flatpicking alike. The elegant appointments remain true to the restrained aesthetic of classic Martin parlors. Madagascar rosewood binding frames the striking flamed mahogany, while the Old Style 18 black maple fibre rosette and matching fingerboard inlays provide subtle vintage-inspired detailing. A GE Modern Belly ebony bridge, black ebony fingerboard and bronze Waverly tuning machines with ebony buttons complete the premium specification. Comfort is equally impressive thanks to Martin's GE Modified Low Oval neck profile with a Standard Taper, finished in satin for a smooth, effortless playing experience. The gloss body showcases the richly figured mahogany beneath a traditional mahogany stain, creating an instrument that is as visually compelling as it is sonically rewarding. An exceptional offering that combines Martin's renowned craftsmanship with a distinctive tonal palette and timeless styling, this 00-12 is a refined choice for players seeking something truly individual.
