The neck is mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, and the bridge is also made of ebony. The instrument has a full 34-inch scale length and is equipped with a Fishman active preamp system, offering volume and concentric tone controls. The body is bound with black binding, and it includes a black pickguard and multi-ring rosette. The B-65E's body dimensions include a 16-inch lower bout width, 11.5-inch upper bout width, and a 5-inch depth. The instrument's solid wood construction and active electronics make it suitable for both acoustic performances and amplified settings. Its design and materials are consistent with Martin's reputation for high-quality craftsmanship. While the Martin B-65E is no longer in production, it remains a sought-after model among collectors and musicians for its unique features and tonal qualities.
