Seller's description

C.F. Martin & Co. 000-42 Modern Deluxe (2024) – VTS Spruce & East Indian Rosewood – Mint Condition The Martin 000-42 Modern Deluxe is one of the most exciting guitars in Martin's current lineup. It combines the classic Style 42 design with modern innovations for better tone, playability and stability. This 2024 Martin 00042 Modern Deluxe is in mint condition, making it a rare chance to buy one of Martin's most advanced 000 models second-hand, as good as new. The guitar has a Sitka spruce top treated with Martin's Vintage Tone System (VTS), which ages the wood for the open, mature sound of a well-played vintage instrument. The top is braced with VTS Adirondack spruce, and the back and sides are solid East Indian rosewood. Martin uses traditional protein glue and a dovetail neck joint for maximum resonance. The result is a rich, complex and three-dimensional voice with deep bass, warm mids, sparkling trebles and impressive sustain. Modern upgrades take the 000-42 Modern Deluxe further: a carbon fiber bridge plate that boosts volume and projection without adding weight Liquidmetal bridge pins for stronger attack and clarity a lightweight titanium truss rod that adds resonance and lowers the overall weight The genuine mahogany neck has Martin's Vintage Deluxe profile with high-performance taper. It is slightly asymmetrical for comfort all the way up the fingerboard. With a 24.9" short scale, 1 3/4" bone nut and gold EVO frets, the Martin 000 42 Modern Deluxe plays smoothly and effortlessly. It is ideal for fingerstyle, singer-songwriter playing and studio recording. Luxurious appointments include: abalone top purfling and rosette abalone snowflake inlays on a bound ebony fingerboard European flamed maple binding an ebony bridge gold open-gear tuners a 1930s-style headstock logo a polished gloss finish This used Martin 000-42 Modern Deluxe is in mint condition, with no visible signs of use. ⸻ Specifications – Martin 000-42 Modern Deluxe (2024) Brand: C
