Seller's description

C.F. Martin & Co. 000-18 Standard (2019) – Mahogany Auditorium Acoustic – Good Condition The Martin 000-18 is one of the most versatile guitars Martin has ever made, and this 2019 example delivers the classic sound that has made the model a favourite for decades. The Martin 00018 sits perfectly between the intimacy of a small-body guitar and the power of a dreadnought. This 000-18 Standard is built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. Scalloped X-bracing gives a lively, responsive top with plenty of volume and sustain. The tone is warm, dry and focused, with a strong midrange, clear trebles and well-defined bass. Every note comes through with excellent clarity and balance. The comfortable 000 body makes the Martin 000 18 a favourite among fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters and recording artists. It handles delicate fingerpicking and medium strumming equally well. Its balanced, articulate voice records beautifully and sits naturally alongside vocals in a mix, making it ideal for folk, blues, Americana and acoustic pop. The 24.9" short scale, 1 3/4" nut width and modified low oval neck with high-performance taper give a relaxed, comfortable playing feel. Classic Style 18 appointments include: an ebony fingerboard and bridge an Old Style 18 multi-stripe rosette faux tortoise binding and pickguard nickel open-gear tuners with butterbean knobs a gloss finish with aging toner on the top This used Martin 000-18 is in good condition. The binding has been professionally repaired, and there is a lacquer check and a small dent on the top, as shown in the photos. None of this affects the sound or playability. It's a great opportunity to own a second-hand Martin with classic mahogany tone at an attractive price. ⸻ Specifications – Martin 000-18 Standard (2019) Brand: C.F. Martin & Co.
