Seller's description

The Ibanez TM5 Trash Metal Distortion is a high-gain distortion pedal from Ibanez’s Soundtank series, designed to deliver aggressive and powerful tones suited for modern metal and hard rock styles. Known for its sharp attack and tight low-end response, the TM5 produces saturated distortion that cuts through the mix with clarity and intensity. This unit, serial number 049364, was made in Taiwan. Controls include Level, Tone, and Dist. The Dist knob determines the amount of distortion, ranging from heavy crunch to fully saturated high-gain tones. The Tone control shapes the overall brightness and character of the distortion, allowing players to dial in darker, heavier sounds or sharper, cutting tones. Level adjusts the output volume, making it easy to balance the pedal with your amplifier or use it as a boost for heavier sections or solos. Compact and straightforward to operate, the TM5 delivers the aggressive distortion sounds that defined many metal tones of the 1990s. With its distinctive character and punchy response, the Ibanez TM5 remains a practical choice for players seeking raw, high-gain distortion in a simple pedal format.
