Its 34.5"–33.5" multiscale layout is designed to balance string tension while maintaining a natural playing position, while dual Fishman Fluence pickups, three-band EQ and multiple voice options provide an exceptionally broad range of bass sounds. What Makes the Ibanez SRMS720-BCM Special? The SRMS720 brings multiscale construction into Ibanez's sleek Soundgear format. Its five-piece maple/walnut SRMS4 neck, Panga Panga fingerboard and 24-fret layout provide a fast, precise feel, while the varying scale lengths help optimise tension across all four strings without making the instrument feel excessively long. Its Fishman Fluence pickup system is equally impressive. Multiple pickup voices, a selectable single-coil mode and three-band EQ allow the bass to move from thick traditional tones through to clear, full-range modern sounds and scooped funk-style settings without relying on external processing. Who Is It For? The SRMS720-BCM is ideal for intermediate and advanced bassists looking for a modern four-string with extensive tonal control and the ergonomic advantages of a multiscale design. It is particularly well suited to progressive rock, metal, fusion, funk, pop, session work and contemporary styles where clarity, articulation and flexible onboard tone shaping are important.
