Its HSS pickup configuration pairs two Resolution single-coils with a Quantum bridge humbucker, while the slim maple neck, ebony fingerboard and T102 tremolo make it equally comfortable handling clean rhythm work, blues, rock and heavier lead playing. What Makes the Ibanez SA460MBW-SUB Special? The standout feature is its maple burl top, which gives each instrument an individual grain pattern beneath the vibrant Sunset Blue Burst finish. Underneath sits an okoume body shaped with the thin, comfortably contoured profile for which Ibanez's SA Series is known. The combination of Resolution single-coils and a Quantum humbucker gives the SA460MBW a broad tonal range. Clear neck and middle pickup sounds sit alongside the additional output and punch of the bridge humbucker, making this a particularly flexible choice for players who regularly move between different musical styles. Who Is It For? The SA460MBW-SUB is ideal for players looking for one guitar capable of covering a wide range of sounds without sacrificing modern playability. Its HSS electronics suit pop, blues, funk, indie, rock and heavier styles, while the comfortable body contours and slim neck make it a strong option for both rhythm and lead guitarists.
