Finished in Antique Brown Stained, the grain of the ash remains a prominent part of the guitar's appearance. An Edge-Zero II double-locking tremolo, 24 jumbo frets and a 25.5-inch scale make the S520AH particularly well suited to players who want a responsive, performance-focused electric guitar for rock, metal, fusion and technical playing. What Makes the Ibanez S520AH-ABS Special? The S Series has long been known for combining a remarkably slim body with serious performance credentials. Here, the contoured ash body provides a comfortable playing platform, while the Wizard III maple neck and flat 400mm-radius rosewood fingerboard give the guitar the quick, precise feel associated with modern Ibanez instruments. A pair of Quantum ceramic humbuckers provides a powerful yet articulate foundation, with a five-way selector giving more tonal flexibility than a conventional two-humbucker setup. The Edge-Zero II tremolo adds expressive pitch control while its locking design helps maintain tuning stability during more demanding tremolo use. Who Is It For? The S520AH-ABS is a strong choice for intermediate and advanced players looking for a lightweight, fast-playing electric guitar capable of handling high-gain styles without being limited to them. Its slim neck, 24-fret layout and double-locking tremolo particularly suit lead guitarists, technical players and musicians working in rock, metal, progressive and fusion styles.
