Its dramatic Polar Lights finish is paired with an African mahogany body, bound birdseye maple fingerboard and ultra-thin Super Wizard HP neck. Dual Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, a dedicated voicing switch and Ibanez's renowned Lo-Pro Edge double-locking tremolo give the RG5120M the versatility and stability required for demanding rock, metal and progressive playing. What Makes the Ibanez RG5120M-PRT Special? As part of the Ibanez Prestige range, the RG5120M combines Japanese craftsmanship with a specification designed around serious performance. The five-piece maple/wenge Super Wizard HP neck measures just 17mm thick at the first fret, while jumbo stainless-steel frets with Prestige fret-edge treatment and a 430mm-radius birdseye maple fingerboard create an exceptionally fast and precise playing platform. The Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic humbuckers provide powerful, articulate high-gain tones without excessive noise, while the dedicated Fluence voicing switch provides two distinct pickup voices. Combined with the low-profile Lo-Pro Edge tremolo, Gotoh machine heads and Luminlay side dots, this is an uncompromising modern RG built for stage, studio and technical playing. Who Is It For? The RG5120M is aimed at experienced and professional players who favour fast necks, high-output modern pickups and the expressive possibilities of a double-locking tremolo. It is particularly well suited to metal, progressive rock, fusion, shred and technical lead playing, although its dual-voice Fishman electronics give it enough flexibility to cover a considerably wider range of sounds.
