Its slim Wizard III maple neck, 24-fret Jatoba fingerboard and iconic RG body shape create the fast, comfortable playing experience that has made the RG series a favourite for rock and metal guitarists. A versatile Quantum H-S-H pickup configuration provides powerful humbucker tones alongside clearer single-coil textures, while the Edge-Zero II double-locking tremolo gives players the freedom to explore dramatic pitch effects while maintaining reliable tuning stability. What Makes the Ibanez RG470DX-TMN Special? The RG470DX combines Ibanez's fast Wizard III neck profile with a flat 400 mm fingerboard radius and 24 jumbo frets, making it particularly comfortable for technical lead work, wide bends, tapping and fast rhythm playing. The deep Tokyo Midnight finish is complemented by Sharktooth fingerboard inlays and black hardware for a distinctly modern RG appearance. Its Quantum H-S-H electronics make the guitar much more versatile than its high-performance styling might suggest. Ceramic neck and bridge humbuckers deliver definition and power, while the Alnico middle single coil and five-way switching arrangement provide additional cleaner and split-style sounds.
