Its poplar RG body, maple neck and bound purpleheart fingerboard provide the familiar feel and upper-fret access associated with Ibanez's long-running RG design. Dual Infinity R ceramic humbuckers deliver tight, defined tones that work particularly well with distortion and higher-gain amplifiers, while the fixed F106 bridge provides straightforward setup and dependable tuning stability. What Makes the Ibanez GRGR131EX-BKF Special? The GRGR131EX stands out visually thanks to its Black Flat finish, black hardware and reversed black Sharktooth fingerboard inlays. Combined with the angular RG body shape and bound purpleheart fingerboard, the result is a distinctive modern guitar with a deliberately dark, understated appearance. Its two Infinity R humbuckers are controlled through a five-way selector rather than a conventional three-way switch, providing additional pickup combinations for greater tonal flexibility. The 24-fret fingerboard, flat 400mm radius and fixed bridge make it equally suited to fast lead playing, heavy rhythm work and everyday practice. Who Is It For? The GRGR131EX-BKF is particularly well suited to: Rock and metal guitarists Beginners looking for a performance-focused first electric guitar Players who prefer fixed-bridge guitars Developing lead guitarists Players experimenting with high-gain sounds Home recording and practice setups Guitarists who want a 24-fret instrument Players drawn to the distinctive all-black RG aesthetic At A Glance Specification | Details | Brand | Ibanez | Model | GRGR131EX-BKF | Series | Gio RG | Finish | Black Flat | Type | Solidbody Electric Guitar
