Seller's description

Quick Product Summary The Gretsch G6118T-140 Limited Edition 140th Double Platinum Anniversary with String-Thru Bigsby is a premium Professional Collection hollow-body guitar created to celebrate 140 years of Gretsch, combining classic Anniversary styling with modern performance-focused features and a highly distinctive two-tone platinum finish. At the heart of the guitar is a 16-inch hollow body with a solid Adirondack red spruce top, laminated maple back and sides and ML bracing. This combination is designed to retain the openness and acoustic interaction expected from a Gretsch hollow body while providing the definition, sustain and control required for serious amplified use. A pair of FT-67 Filter’Tron humbuckers delivers the articulate top end, clear midrange and controlled low frequencies that suit the Gretsch format particularly well. Individual pickup volumes are joined by a master volume with treble-bleed circuit and a master no-load tone control, giving you plenty of tonal control without losing the direct character of the pickups. Professional hardware includes a String-Thru Bigsby B6CP, pinned Adjusto-Matic bridge with ebony base, Gotoh locking tuners, Grover strap locks and a genuine bone nut. Finished in the commemorative Double Platinum two-tone colour scheme with chrome hardware, jeweled controls and a special 140th Anniversary headstock plaque, this is a visually striking limited-edition Gretsch backed up by a specification designed for serious playing rather than display alone. A Gretsch G6241 Deluxe 16-inch Hollow Body Hardshell Case is included.
