Seller's description

Gibson SG Standard in Ebony The Gibson SG Standard embodies the iconic design and sonic character that defined late-1960s rock and roll. Built around a solid mahogany body, this instrument delivers the singing sustain and tonal warmth that made the SG a studio and stage staple. The comfortable rounded mahogany neck paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard spans 22 frets, while a long tenon 19th fret joint maximizes resonance and sustain. Equipped with 490R and 490T Alnico 2 humbuckers, the SG Standard produces articulate, balanced tones capable of spanning clean jazz passages to aggressive high-gain applications. Independent volume and tone controls with a 3-way selector provide intuitive access to your preferred voicing. The Heritage Cherry finish is complemented by a black 5-ply pickguard and chrome hardware, while Grover Rotomatics tuners and an aluminum Tune-O-Matic bridge with Stop Bar tailpiece ensure tuning stability and precise intonation. Finished with black Top Hat knobs featuring silver reflectors, this SG Standard honors Gibson's legendary design heritage. Includes a protective soft shell case for transport and storage.
