Seller's description

There’s a reason they call it the King of the Flat-Tops. Since 1937, the SJ-200 has been the acoustic of choice for artists who need to be heard, from country stars and Hollywood cowboys to rock icons and modern songwriters. The SJ-200 Original brings that legacy home for left-handed players, with every bit of the vintage detail and big-room voice that made the Super Jumbo a legend. A solid Sitka spruce top over flame maple back and sides delivers the SJ-200’s signature sound: bold, articulate, and piano-like, with the projection to fill a room and the clarity to cut through a mix. The maple neck’s round profile feels substantial without being clubby, equally at home driving rhythm or picking out melodies. The Antique Natural nitro finish lets the figured maple do the talking. Then there are the appointments that make an SJ-200 unmistakable from across the stage: the carved four-bar Moustache bridge, engraved tortoise pickguard, and mother-of-pearl crown inlays on the fingerboard and headstock. Onboard Baggs HiFi DNA electronics capture the guitar’s natural acoustic character when you plug in, and a Gibson hardshell case keeps it protected between gigs. Iconic looks, commanding tone, built for southpaws. This is the one.
