Why this one Very good condition - light cosmetic wear, no functional issues Fully tested - all applicable functions verified working Rare 1986 Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard from a short-lived production run. Condition: Very Good This electric guitar is in very good condition. It has passed our 8-point functional test; no faults found. Note: Fully tested, and everything we checked works as it should. Cosmetically, there are quite a few surface marks and scratches throughout. However, for a guitar manufactured in 1986, it is in fantastic condition. There is some finish checking on the headstock, and light scuffing to the underside of the guitar towards the strap button. Please note that the bridge pickup casing is partly damaged, as some of the cream-coloured plastic is missing. This is a rare, short-lived Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard (or Studio Custom), dated 3rd October 1986. Manufactured only from 1983 to 1986, the Studio Standard featured cream binding along the body and fretboard while retaining the dot inlays of the Studio line. . Please review all photos carefully, as they provide an accurate representation of the cosmetic condition of the product. What's included Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard (Cherry Sunburst) Soft Case About this model The Les Paul Studio Standard is a single-cut electric guitar from Gibson's Les Paul family, built as a more stripped-back alternative to the higher-end models in the range. This example is a Cherry Sunburst guitar dating from 1986, one of the final years the Studio Standard was produced. Les Paul-style guitars are typically known for a solid body and a thick, sustaining tone with strong midrange, suited to rock, blues and heavier styles. Its age and rarity make it of interest to both players and vintage-minded collectors. A great opportunity to own a Gibson Les Paul Studio Standard at this price point.
