Seller's description

The Gibson Les Paul Chad Kroeger Blackwater is a signature electric guitar developed in collaboration with Nickelback’s frontman Chad Kroeger, designed to blend classic Les Paul tonewoods with player‑focused performance features. Its body consists of a mahogany back with a carved maple top, finished in a stealthy Blackwater gloss that gives the instrument a sleek, modern aesthetic. The set‑neck mahogany construction contributes to strong sustain and resonance, while the classic Les Paul contours offer balanced comfort for rhythm and lead playing. The neck is crafted from mahogany with a comfortable profile tailored for contemporary playability, paired with a rosewood fingerboard that holds 22 medium‑jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays for clear visual orientation. The 24.75″ scale length provides familiar string tension and feel, supporting expressive bends, dynamic chord work, and articulate lead lines. The combination of the traditional Les Paul neck design and this signature model’s appointments gives a versatile and responsive playing experience. Electronics on the Blackwater model consist of dual humbucking pickups—typically a set voiced to Chad Kroeger’s specifications—routed through individual volume and tone controls plus a three‑way pickup selector switch. These pickups deliver a broad tonal range, from warm, rounded neck pickup hues to tight, punchy bridge pickup tones that suit rock, blues, and other high‑gain styles. Hardware includes a Tune‑O‑Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece for reliable tuning stability and sustain, along with chrome‑finished metal appointments. The Gibson Les Paul Chad Kroeger Blackwater merges classic Les Paul elements with signature voicing and aesthetics to offer a versatile instrument capable of powerful performance in a variety of musical settings.
