From the listing
The Gibson J-45 has been one of the most recognizable acoustic guitars ever built, earning its reputation through decades of recordings, songwriting sessions, and stages around the world. The J-45 Special takes that iconic round-shoulder formula and offers a more stripped-down, approachable version while keeping everything that makes a J-45 special in the first place. Built in Bozeman, Montana, it delivers the warm midrange, balanced response, and woody character that players have associated with the model since 1942. One of the unique aspects of the J-45 Special is its slightly thinner "concert depth" body, giving it a tighter low end and a comfortable feel whether you're writing at home, recording, or spending hours on stage. The satin nitrocellulose finish lets the guitar resonate freely while giving it a broken-in look and feel right out of the case. Paired with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup system, the J-45 Special transitions seamlessly from the couch to the studio or live performance. Specs: Solid Sitka spruce top; solid mahogany back and sides; traditional scalloped X-bracing; round shoulder J-45 body shape; concert depth body; utile neck; SlimTaper neck profile; compound dovetail neck-to-body joint with hot hide glue; rosewood fingerboard; 12" fingerboard radius; 20 standard frets; mother-of-pearl dot inlays; 24.75" scale length; 1.73" TUSQ nut width; traditional belly-up rosewood bridge; TUSQ saddle; TUSQ bridge pins; Grover Rotomatic tuners; nickel hardware; teardrop tortoise pickguard. Satin nitrocellulose lacquer Vintage Sunburst finish. Premium soft shell case included. Electronics: L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle pickup; active preamp; soundhole-mounted volume control; 1/4" endpin output jack.
