Seller's description

The Gibson J-45 Special Left-Handed in Satin Ebony brings the unmistakable soul of Gibson’s most iconic acoustic into a more raw, player-focused format. Known as “The Workhorse” since its introduction in 1942, the J-45 has long been the go-to for songwriters and performers—and this Special version strips things back to what matters most: tone, feel, and vibe. Built in Bozeman, Montana, this lefty-friendly model pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, delivering that classic warm, balanced J-45 voice with a focused low end and clear, woody midrange that sits perfectly under vocals. The satin nitro finish gives it a more open, broken-in feel right out of the gate, while the slightly more compact body depth adds comfort without sacrificing that signature Gibson punch. The SlimTaper neck profile keeps things fast and familiar, making this an easy transition whether you're coming from electric or acoustic. Plug it in, and the onboard L.R. Baggs electronics deliver a natural, stage-ready tone that holds up from the studio to the stage. This is the J-45 at its most honest—no frills, just pure Gibson character and feel.
