The Gibson ES-335 60s brings the refined styling and unmistakable character of the early 1960s into one of Gibson's most celebrated electric guitar designs. Finished in a rich Dark Walnut gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this semi-hollow classic features a three-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a solid maple centerblock, delivering the warmth and resonance of a hollowbody with the sustain and feedback resistance of a solidbody. Cream body binding, small block fingerboard inlays, and a vintage-style black five-ply pickguard complete its distinctive early-'60s appearance. The mahogany neck features Gibson's comfortable SlimTaper profile, offering a faster, sleeker feel than the fuller neck shapes associated with 1950s models. A bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and a 12" radius provides a familiar playing surface, while Grover Rotomatic tuners with milk bottle buttons, an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, and an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece deliver reliable tuning stability and sustain. A calibrated pair of Gibson T-Type humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets captures the articulate, open character of vintage T-Top pickups, with everything from warm, rounded cleans to biting blues leads and powerful classic rock tones. Hand-wired controls with 500k potentiometers allow for precise tonal adjustments, making the ES-335 60s as versatile as it is timeless. Complete with a Gibson hardshell case, this Cherry ES-335 is a striking take on a genuine Gibson icon.
