The Gibson ES-335 is one of the most influential electric guitars ever made, and the new ES-335 50s captures the look, feel, and sound of the earliest examples that helped define rock, blues, jazz, and countless recordings. Built in Nashville, this version stays true to the original 1958 formula with period-correct appointments, a substantial Rounded C neck profile, and the unmistakable semi-hollow construction that has made the ES-335 a favorite for generations of players. The three-ply maple/poplar/maple body is paired with a solid maple centerblock, delivering the resonance and airiness of a hollowbody while maintaining the sustain, focus, and feedback resistance that made the ES-335 revolutionary. Whether you're playing clean jazz lines, edge-of-breakup blues, or classic rock, the ES-335 responds with remarkable depth and clarity. A mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile provides the substantial feel associated with late-'50s Gibson instruments. The bound rosewood fingerboard features simple dot inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets, while Vintage Deluxe tuners and an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge complete the authentic vintage-inspired experience. The Vintage Natural gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish showcases the beauty of the figured laminate construction and highlights the timeless elegance of this iconic design. Power comes from a pair of Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnets, designed to recreate the warmth, articulation, and dynamic response of the earliest PAF pickups. Hand-wired controls with Orange Drop capacitors provide exceptional clarity and responsiveness, allowing the ES-335 to cover everything from warm, woody cleans to singing lead tones with ease. Specs: Three-ply maple/poplar/maple semi-hollow body with solid maple centerblock; single-ply cream body binding; mahogany neck with Rounded C profile; rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius and acrylic dot inlays; 22 medium jumbo frets; 24.75" scale length; 1.695" Graph Tech nut; ABR-1 Tun
