This pre-owned Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R8) is in excellent condition with no major marks or dings and only very light signs of play. Complete with all paperwork and the custom shop Gibson hard case. The Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R8) features a solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body, a carved maple top, and a chunky, rounded 1950s mahogany neck profile. Body Material: Solid, lightweight, non-weight-relieved mahogany. Top Material: Two-piece carved maple Finish: Nitrocellulose lacquer Neck Material: Solid mahogany attached with a long neck tenon and hide-glue fit. Neck Profile: Chunky, rounded late-'50s ‘C’ shape Fingerboard: One-piece Indian rosewood, secured with hide glue Radius: 12" Frets: 22 historic narrow/tall frets Nut Material: Nylon Scale Length: 24.75" Inlays: Aged cellulose nitrate trapezoids Pickups: Unpotted Gibson Custombucker Alnico III (PAF replica) humbuckers Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, hand-wired with paper-in-oil/bumblebee-style capacitors and audio-taper potentiometers Bridge: No-wire ABR-1 tune-o-matic with lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece Tuners: Kluson Deluxe single-line/double-ring with green tulip buttons Case: Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Hard Case
